Hello Fabs! February is coming to a close, which means Spring is coming. It seems that weather all over the United States is crazier than Bradley Cooper is Silver Linings Playbook. With the weather changing and seasons ending, it leaves us trendy folk both unseasonably warm and totally confused. No need to fret. I've compiled a collage of looks ( Courtesy of Polyvore) that will help you transition from the chill of Winter to Spring.
Spring colors have seemed to be the trend every season.. Mint has become the new "it" color for spring. Armani Exchange debuted their Paris Big Heart Slouch Jumper in mint that retails for an incredibly affordable $38 dollars. BaubleBar kept up with the mint trend with their cute Mint Rose studs available at Baublebar.com . Why limit the mint trend to above the knee? Pair Brian Atwood's gorgeous Marilyn suede mint platform with any outfit!
Spring is definitely jacket season! Look for more military style jacket, capes, zipped cuff blazers, floral print jackets, and capes!
Just because it's not summer doesnt mean that your legs have to stay hidden. Peplum was huge last season. Count on seeing this trend transcend into spring. Leather skirts and multi length asymmetrical maxi skirts will dominite store racks.
Kylie Jenner had the right idea when she was photographed in faux leather burgundy Parker pants ($198). Funky leggings like these super cool Galaxy cosic space tie Dye reflective leggings, can turn a simple oversized sweater into an amazing outfit. Expect linen wide leg trousers and harem pants, like the Skinny Harem hip hop pant from urban Groove to appear in many closets this spring.
Last but certainly not least. Isabel Marant's Bekkat leather and suede sneakers are EVERYWHERE (including my feet). They make for the perfect chilly transition day shoe. Pair with skinny jeans or legging for a relaxed, but trendy look. Zara designed Black and White combination heels as the perfect Spring date night shoe.
Spring will be here before you know it, but you still have plenty of time to fill those closets with fabulous finds. So use these picks as a guide and happy shopping!
