This Saturday, Nov. 9th, at noon the Coastline Festival at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre (FL State Fairgrounds) will be kicking off, and is by far the best thing going on this weekend.
One of my favorite bands will be there; The Neighbourhood, and will be on the side stage starting at 5:25pm. Passion Pit, Two Door Cinema Club, The Joy Formidable, the Mowgli's, and Fitz and the Tantrums are also great bands. Blondfire is on my list as well as St. Lucia, but newcomers Zulu Wave, Surfer Blood, and Polyenso should be a treat for any alt-rocker.
Organizer Live Nation just released the set times for all the bands that will be playing this Saturday, see below:
There will be 12 bands on two stages, all in the indie rock and pop genre. On the main stage, you’ve got headliners Passion Pit (9:40 p.m.), bouncy Irish group Two Door Cinema Club (above, 8:10), peppy husband-and-wife duo Matt and Kim (6:10), throwback soul-pop collective Fitz and the Tantrums (4:30), upbeat neo-folkies the Mowgli’s (3) and airy pop duo Blondfire (1:30).
On a side stage, there’s thundering Welsh trio The Joy Formidable (7:15), moody California alt-rockers The Neighbourhood (5:25), West Palm Beach fuzz-rock outfit Surfer Blood (3:45), synth-pop act St. Lucia (2:15) and local acts Zulu Wave (12:55) and Polyenso (12:10).
Get tickets from Ticketmaster here.
If that's not enough entertainment check out; Cyndi Lauper, Black Uhuru, Celtic Thunder, Jazz & Jokes, Mike Epps, Cedric the Entertainer, Josh Groban, The Suicide Girls, The Piano Guys and Juicy J. who will also be around. See Tampa Bay Times for more info.
And if entertainment on stage isn't your thing, check out the local beaches for a family picnic, they are some of the best in the world.
