Here are a few of Orlando’s best ‘themed’ restaurants outside the parks.

Capone's Dinner Show
4770 W. Bronson Hwy
Kissimmee, FL 34746
407-239-9223

If you love Italian food, the gangster stylin’s of the 1930s, and musical comedy revues, you really don’t want to miss Capone’s Dinner Show. My personal favorite, Capone’s takes guests to a flashy Chicago speakeasy for a fast-paced interactive show that will keep you laughing with characters like Bunny-June, Bugs Moran and Fingers Salvatorio. The Italian style buffet also features American favorites like glazed ham and roast turkey.

T-REX Café
Downtown Disney
1676 E Buena Vista Dr
Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830
(407) 828-8739

Step back in time when you eat at T-REX, an interactive prehistoric dining environment. Life-size animatronic dinosaurs and woolly mammoths as well as aquariums of live tropical fish offer guests a feast for both the tummy and the eye. Chow down on Layers of the Earth Lasagna or the Gigantosaurus Burger while exploring the many creatures among the waterfalls and geysers. There’s even a fossil dig site for young explorers to play in and discover dino bones.

Rainforest Café
Downtown Disney
1800 E Buena Vista Dr
Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830
(407) 827-8500

Rainforest Café is a favorite for families. Orlando has two locations, one at Disney's Animal Kingdom and the other in Downtown Disney. The tropical rain forest theme includes a combination of animatronic jungle animals and special effects. There’s even a tropical “rain storm” with thunder and the sound of rain. And, of course, the food is delicious, too. The menu features something for everyone, including burgers, pastas, exotic salads, and tropical treats.

Pirate's Dinner Adventure
6400 Carrier Drive
Orlando, FL 32819
(407) 248-0590

Yo ho ho, me hearties. Don your pirate gear and head on over to Pirate's Dinner Adventure for an evening of exciting live performances, musical entertainment and a pirate's dinner feast. Cheer for your favorite pirate as the live show takes guests aboard a pirate ship for a sea adventure worthy of the largest treasure.

Medieval Times Dinner Show
4510 W.(192) Irlo Bronson Hwy
Kissimmee, FL 34742
1-800-543-9637

Watch knights joust, see incredible horsemanship and falconry, and enjoy a four-course meal at Medieval Times Dinner Show in Kissimmee. BTW, be prepared to have fun and eat with your fingers like they did back in the day (but don’t worry, if you insist they will bring out tableware). Before going to the castle for your evening show and meal, be sure to check out the eight cottage medieval village. This living history museum features artisans of the medieval period including coppersmiths, weavers, potters and blacksmiths.

Outta Control Magic Comedy Dinner Show
Wonderworks
9067 International Drive
Orlando, FL 32819
(407) 351-8800

Wonderworks in Orlando offers a nightly Outta Control Magic Comedy Dinner Show. While the dinner is not an extravagant meal, (pizza, salad, popcorn, soda and dessert), the show is definitely worth the trip. The one-man show includes magic, high-energy comedy, impersonations and audience participation that will keep the whole family laughing. And beer and wine is included for the adults.`
