The Super Bowl commercial for NBC's "The Voice" features the coaches -- including CMT's #9 artist Blake Shelton -- fighting their way, "Kill Bill" style, for an unseen songbird who turns out to be Betty White. The commercial debuted at halftime of Super Bowl XLVI Feb. 6, as Shelton and fellow coaches Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green showed their action side in the promo of their new season of "The Voice," which airs after the Super Bowl.
Shelton lassos Aguilera, then gets kicked by Levine, who then gets karate-punched by Green -- it's sort of a cross between "Kill Bill" and Maroon 5's "Misery" video, where Levine takes a beating from supermodel and girlfriend Anne V.
As they all crash through Betty White's motel room door, she emerges from the shower where she was singing, and has a rather cheeky moment. Watch the video to see for it for yourself.
Super Bowl XLVI features the Patriots and Giants at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. Shelton also performed with wife Miranda Lambert before the kickoff, with the pair dueting on "America the Beautiful."
