Best selling author Cassandra Clare stops in Portland on her book tour

Cassandra Clare, author of The Mortal Instruments, The Infernal Devices, and numerous other works, is going to make a stop in Portland on her tour this month.

Most people now know her as the author of "City of Bones", the first book in The Mortal Instruments series, because it’s hitting the big screen this August, and the publicity is everywhere. Her reason for coming to the Clackamas Town Center Barnes & Noble, however, is to publicize her newest addition to The Infernal Devices, "Clockwork Princess".

The creator of the Shadowhunter world weaves words into imagery that creates an entire universe spanning past, present, and future. Characters in her books are more alive than your friends and neighbors. The moment you crack the cover of a Cassandra Clare book, you will struggle to put it down until the very last word.

Cassandra will be signing copies of her books on Sunday, March 24 beginning at 2 pm. This is a free event, however, in order to enter the signing line, you must purchase at least one copy of Cassandra’s feature title on event day. This means, you have to buy the book to meet the author. You won’t be sorry. She is as fun to meet as her books are to read.

Clackamas Town Center Mall is located at 12000 South East 82 Avenue, Portland, Oregon, 97086. For more information, find them at barnesandnoble.com or call 503-786-3464.
