Sweet Rose Creamery
Josh Loeb, Zoe Nathan and Shiho Yoshikawa's ice cream shop has three area locations, including the Brentwood Country Mart and Pico Boulevard.

Each day, the shops prepare small batches of organic, seasonal and locally-sourced ice cream and other delights. The menu features monthly flavors, dairy-free items, and two current holiday offerings:

-A bon bon gift pack (three or six) includes two bites dipped in a blend of Guittard chocolate, and comes in three flavors - strawberry ice cream, spicy chocolate ice cream, and guava frozen yogurt.

-A heart-shaped raspberry semifreddo is served atop a Valrhona chocolate sponge cake.

Limited quantities are available through Feb. 14 for in-store pick-up.

Sprinkles Cupcake Cart - Shore Hotel
The Shore Hotel and Sprinkles present a mid-day cupcake cart for guests and the public over Valentine’s Day weekend. Stop by to purchase a treat, then stroll hand-in-hand with your sweetie along Ocean Avenue or enjoy a beach sunset.

Select from an assortment of Sprinkles’ seasonal and classic flavors like vanilla or salty caramel. Look for gluten-free, sugar-free and vegan varieties, too.

In conjunction with this, the hotel has a special “Green is the New Pink” package for a romantic weekend staycation or quick Santa Monica getaway.

Röckenwagner Bakery Café
One can enjoy Röckenwagner offerings at sites including a new Brentwood café, area farmers’ market booths and this spot just off the Third Street Promenade. Daily menu items here include baked goods (some vegan) and café selections featuring farmers’ market produce.

Share a special Valentine’s Day treat: two oversized raspberry macaron cookies filled with passion fruit cream and fresh raspberries, and topped with a decorative chocolate heart.

Vanilla Bake Shop
This Wilshire Boulevard bakery (one of three area locations) showcases desserts made with high-quality ingredients like fresh, local berries.

For the holiday, choose from chocolate-covered strawberries, heart-shaped cakes, a selection of seasonal cupcake flavors like pink champagne strawberry, and more. On Valentine’s Day, the daily featured cupcake flavors include gluten-free red velvet.

Holiday items are available through Feb. 16. Online ordering is available for local delivery or in-store pick-up. Advance order times vary depending on item and quantity.
