The countdown is on. Only two days until the lover's holiday: Valentine's Day. While typical gifts might include candy and flowers, what if your sweetie has no use for these traditional items? If your valentine so happens to be a runner, you are in luck.
For the woman runner in your life, try one of these gifts:
- A running skirt. This is the newest craze. Gone are the days of the boring running shorts. These skirts come in a myriad of designs and colors. The Nike+iPod consists of a small accelerometer[1] attached to or embedded in a shoe, which communicates with either the Nike+ Sportband, a receiver plugged into an iPod Nano, or directly with an iPod Touch 2nd Generation or iPhone 3GS. If using the iPod or the iPhone 3GS, iTunes software can be used to view the walk or run history. These slick devices are available in a myriad of fun colors including pink, red, yellow or blue. If you haven't found the perfect gift for your wife or girlfriend yet, don't despair. You still have time to order online (overnight delivery), or run out to your local running store.
