It's St. Patrick's Day (or you're just in the mood for culturally-themed beer), so where do you go? Atlanta has a few pubs to keep you in the Irish spirit. See below for the most MARTA-accessible spots to enjoy a Guinness or two.

Meehan's Irish Pub (Peachtree Center Station)
Get a little bit o' Ireland next to the Peachtree Center station. Located on Peachtree Street, Meehan's is a great spot for a drink and a bite to eat while you catch all the soccer games. Take the Ellis Street exit off the train platform then follow the signs to Peachtree Street West. At street level, turn left. There's also a Meehan's in Atlantic Station -- take the free shuttle from the Arts Center MARTA station.

Mac McGee (Decatur Station)
Right above the Decatur station is Mac McGee, a small Irish pub with big style (check out the stained glass and wood interior) and Irish cuisine with a twist. Take the Church Street exit out of the station and walk up to the plaza above the station.

Pub 71 (Brookhaven Station)
Across from the Brookhaven MARTA station is Pub 71, an authentic Irish pub with traditional Irish food, a patio, trivia night and a variety of beer.

Royal Oak Pub (Sandy Springs Station)
For a pint off the red line, the Royal Oak Pub is in a shopping center above the Sandy Springs station. Choose from darts, trivia and a variety of food and beers.

Gibney's Pub (Peachtree Center Station)
Gibney's Pub is on the back side of Peachtree Center in close walking distance to several hotels. There's a pretty awesome beer list, pool tables and a juke box. Take the Harris Street exit out of the station and follow the signs to Peachtree Street East. You can enter the Peachtree Center Mall from the station and walk to the opposite side of the building for the pub. Or from street level, turn right on Peachtree Street, right on John Portman Blvd./Harris Street and right on Peachtree Center Avenue.

Ri Ra (Midtown Station)
This Irish pub doubles as nightlife venue with plenty of live music and DJs after hours. From the Midtown station, take the the Federal Reserve exit or from the main station exit cross over 10th street using the crosswalk. Walk up to 11th Street via the pedestrian plaza and turn right. Walk about a block to Crescent Avenue and turn left.

The Marlay House (Decatur Station)
For some great pub food and live traditional Irish music on Tuesdays, head to the Marlay. A large patio is out front for enjoying a beer during warm weather. Take the Swanton Way exit out of the MARTA station and walk through the bus bay to Commerce Drive. Turn right on Commerce then left on W. Ponce de Leon Avenue and walk about two blocks.

Fado Irish Pub (Buckhead Station)
Three levels of Irish-pub fun, Fado is Buckhead's Irish watering hole. Bus 110 stops near the bar at the intersection of Peachtree Road and Buckhead Avenue (board the bus at the Arts Center, Buckhead or Lenox MARTA stations). You can also walk from the Buckhead station. Take the pedestrian tunnel underneath Peachtree Road after exiting the fare gate. At street level, turn left and walk about 15 minutes to Grandview Avenue and turn left again. Walk about a block and turn right on Buckhead Avenue. Total walking time is just over 20 minutes.
