This year, Latin Bites Chef Roberto Castro's will be offering a three-course Valentine’s Day menu, which is priced at $75 per person. Options from the first course include Pork Arepa, an Asian-style pork belly dish with South American corn dough, or Purple Causita, a cold purple mashed potato patty accompanied by crab salad. The second course features choices such as Two Ways Duck Cannelloni – duck confit cannelloni and duck breast on wine demi glaze with mole sauce and sautéed baby veggies – and the Green Risotto, which incorporates asparagus and spinach risotto with miso glaze Chilean sea bass and sautéed baby bok choy. For dessert, choose between Mil Hojas, a Venezuelan chocolate mousse with passion fruit cream and hazelnut gelato, or Torta Helada, a Peruivian style cold red velvet cake with strawberry gelatin, rhubarb rocoto coulis and blood orange sorbet. LINE & LARIAT Executive Chef Tyler Malson is spicing up Valentine’s Day with a three-course menu priced at $65 per person. Options from the Hot & Spicy first course include Grilled Bacon Wrapped Quail “Wings Style” with cucumber, celery and blue cheese salad; Pan Seared Blackened Scallops with chili oil, Texmati rice and sautéed mushrooms; and Mustard Spiced Crab Cake with scallion remoulade and local field pea salad. The It’s on Fire second course features choices such as Sage Braised Rabbit with roasted hen of the wood mushroom, Serrano peppers and carrot puree; Blackened Yellowfin Tuna Niçoise with wax beans, egg, oil cured olives, fennel salad and brioche croutons; plus Chile Marinated Grilled Pork Tenderloin with red rice, crispy Brussels sprouts and black bean demi. For dessert, Cool Down or Heat Up with Texas Gingerbread Pig, Roasted Cranberry Pear Tart or Pumpkin Panna Cotta.

Join Eleven XI and celebrate the feast of St. Valentine with a feast of your own. Eleven XI is offering either a three or four-course, prix-fixe menu. The three-course menu for two is priced at $190 per couple with optional, tiered beverage pairings – including wine, beer or cocktails - for $50 or $100. A soup or salad starter segues to a decadent trio of two, prime 6 oz. filet mignons and a 16 oz. broiled lobster tail to share. The third course completes the meal with an assortment of Chef Kevin Bryant’s house made confections. The four course addition raises the tariff to $225 per couple and includes options such as Gulf Shrimp Cocktail, Jumbo Lump Crab Cake or Buffalo Carpaccio.

The menu includes offerings such as Basque Seafood Stew with zucchini, red bells and saffron-sherry aioli; Tempura of Tuna Sashimi with orange chili sauce, wasabi and roe; Shiitake Mushroom Dumplings with a bleu cheese-honey cream sauce; Antelope Cutlet with red onion-red eye cream gravy; Country Style Vegetable Curry with tofu and rice paper; and White Chocolate Challah Bread Pudding with passion fruit custard sauce.

End the evening with a rose petal turndown service, bottle of champagne, two chocolate covered strawberries and two truffles. Wake up to breakfast in bed for two the following day and enjoy late checkout. Complimentary parking is also included in the package priced at $279. The second package, Fantasies Fulfilled, includes all of the amenities from the Romance Discovered package but guests will enjoy it from the Wyndham’s Presidential Suite overlooking the Houston skyline. The Fantasies Fulfilled package is priced at $1,500.
