Best of Both Worlds: Remember Country Music's Past While Celebrating The Present

Nashville is a great city to visit at any time of the year, but the CMA Music Festival, from June 6-9 is surely one of the best times for country music fans to experience the place where it all began.
The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is going all out to offer visitors a wonderful enhancement to the CMA event and the 42nd annual "Fan Fair," providing a celebration of both the present stars and the rich historical tradition which gave birth to them.

Country Music Hall of Fame welcomes CMA Music Fest attendees
Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum

The Hall of Fame goes right to the top of today's charts with an exhibit opening on June 5, "Carrie Underwood - The Blown Away Tour." Included will be costumes, instruments, set pieces and more from the six-time Grammy winner's 2012-13 "Blown Away Tour."

The Hall is a fantastic venue to encounter top country music personalities up close, with performances and autograph signings by Kristen Kelly, Casey James, Craig Campbell, Love and Theft, Tate Stevens, and others.

All this is in addition to the Hall's current exhibits which include "Patsy Cline - Crazy for Loving You," and "The Bakersfield Sound," representing the music of Buck Owens, Merle Haggard, and California Country. So if you're looking for something beyond the obvious to make your CMA Festival special and unique, be sure to include a visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
