Montblanc presented the 21st annual Montblanc De La Culture Arts Patronage Award, honoring Quincy Jones at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles recently. The Montblanc de la Culture Arts Patronage Award annually honors individuals who have dedicated their lives to the support of the arts. After dominating the music industry for over 50 years, Jones joined the prestigious ranks of previous winners of Montblanc de la Culture Arts Patronage Award including, HRH Charles Prince of Wales, Yoko Ono, and Queen Sofia of Spain.

The award was presented to Quincy Jones by Montblanc North America CEO Jan Patrick Schmitz, longtime esteemed friend Morgan Freeman, and daughter Rashida Jones.

Montblanc donated $20,000 to the Jazz Foundation of America, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting aging jazz musicians in New York City, on Quincy Jones’ behalf.
