Best of 2012 in photography

Most of us love the Best of The Year articles and segments on television that recap the applicable topics of interest given within a specific genre. Photography has a very large audience due to it's visual nature. Flickr has a group that will let you contribute your best shot of the year. The deadline to post your image is on Midnight (PST) January 14, 2013. If you browse through the discussion in that group, you will find that you can submit your best images for specific topics (sunset, tree, portrait, etc.). It's worth a look.
