Noon Year's Party-Como Zoo offers family-friendly entertainment by the Radio Disney Party Patrol on December 31 & KidsDance on January 1. There will be noise-maker making, special animal enrichment, zoo keeper talks, Story Time and a countdown to noon with hundreds of beach balls dropped from the ceiling. Admission is free.
Wood Lake's Candlelight & Ice New Year's Eve Event-Celebrate the New Year at Wood Lake Nature Center with family and friends! Follow hundreds of candle-lit luminaries on a trail through cattails and trees while on the lookout for deer, fox and owls. Roast marshmallows over a crackling fire or warm up inside with hot cocoa. Make a craft, play a game, or just sit back and relax. No pre-registration required; doors open at 6 p.m. Admission price is four dollars/person.
Bielenberg Sports Center New Year's Eve Celebration-Celebrate New Year's Eve with games, moonwalks, slides, an obstacle course, mini-golf, open ice skating, Woodbury Skating exhibition, live DJ, and more! Door prize drawings will be held at 8:30 p.m. followed by the big countdown to 2013 at 8:45 p.m. This event usually sells out! $8 ticket if purchase before Noon on December 28. $10 at the door.
New Year's Eve Sparkle-rama-Come to the Minnesota Children's Museum and boogey the night away to live music from Will Hale and the Tadpole Parade, create your own sparkly hat, take the stage with inflatable guitars, and countdown to the most magical moment of the year at the 8 p.m. ball drop. Dress up your curious crew in their favorite sequined outfits and ring in the New Year. Admission is $10.00 per member and $14 per non-member. Price includes snack, free parking and admission. Monday, December 31, 6 - 9 p.m.
