If you are pregnant and trying to decide where to deliver your baby, look no further than Swedish Medical Center in downtown Englewood.  Both the labor and delivery rooms and the recovery rooms at Swedish are comfortable and spacious, with all the amenities you need.

In addition to their state-of-the-art facility, the nurses at Swedish will pamper you and do everything in their power to ease your distress during your labor.  All of the labor and delivery nurses at Swedish Medical Center radiate with compassionate knowledge and genuine caring, which can help ease your fear and anxiety during labor.  And during the countless hours you are in labor, the nurses are your most important allies; your doctor will usually just be there for the actual delivery.

Once you have delivered your beautiful baby, you will move to one of Swedish's family care rooms.  The family care rooms are phenomenal.  Most of them have two twin beds- one for you and one for your exhausted partner. Your partner will be more helpful to you and your new baby if he can sleep in a real bed instead of just a convertible chair like many hospitals offer.

The lactation specialists at Swedish are also very knowledgeable and eager to help you and your baby learn the delicate art of breastfeeding.

If you are pregnant and haven't yet made a decision about where to deliver your baby, sign up to take a tour of Swedish Medical Center's maternity ward.  You might never want to leave!
