Best Local Playgrounds: Hampton Pines Park

Hampton Pines is a beautiful park nestled under the quiet shade of sweet smelling slash pine trees. It is a lovely playground with lots of slides on mulch ground cover. Children will love sliding down the giant alligator slide while the smell of pine is enhanced by the vision of silent hawks soaring above. The playground equipment is older but well maintained.

This North Lauderdale park has plenty of picnic shelters and a jogging/walking/cycling path  that follows the perimeter of a small pond through a nature preserve. There is a fence between the path however the bottom rung is fairly high and it would be easy for a child to slip under. Extra caution should be taken when walking the path with small children. The park also offers boat and biking rentals with hours that change seasonally so it is advised to call ahead for these services.

Hampton Pines Park has something to offer the whole family for a beautiful day out in one of Broward County’s magnificent parks.
