Dottie Mancini Park is also locally called Imperial Point Park. This hidden playground is a fabulous find for those who love to take their kids to parks. The Park is fully fenced in for safety and offers guests shade from lovely old Royal Palm Trees and Banyan Trees. The grounds are well kept in a quiet serene neighborhood.
Children will love the climbing structure in the middle of park atop rubber flooring. The structure itself is fairly well maintained with lots of slides, climbing area and bridges. There is a sand pit for digging and every child loves the purple the dinosaur bouncer.
There is also a lovely grassy area that is perfect for a quick game of Frisbee or a tag. There are several shady picnic tables and benches to relax in while the kids run out their excess energy. Guests can also enjoy sinking a few baskets on the half basketball court. There are two bucket swings and three regular swings available as well. One of the best features of this park is for parents who like to jog and work out. A great jogging trail with workout stations circles the playground so that parents can use it and still be able to watch their children play.
There is plenty of street parking and this park rarely gets over crowed as many other parks do. All in all this is a city secret that locals will be happy to find! Dottie Mancini Park is located at 6520 NE 22nd Avenue and is open from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm every day.
