Tonight at the 54th annual Grammys, we saw fashion disasters and successes. Even with the sudden death of Whitney Houston, stars still managed to shock fans on the red carpet in their ensembles. Here is a breakdown of the best-dressed winners from the night.
Most-Daring: Fergie in Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture. This neon orange, sheer gown shocked reporters the minute she stepped onto the red carpet. Still there was something about the color and her amazing figure that made it clear she pulled the look off. She finished her look with Walter Steiger pumps and a Judith Leiber clutch.
Best-Couture: Taylor Swift in Zuhair Murad. Not only was the nude colored look on point from the past few seasons but the hand-made details were astonishingly perfect. Her shoes were Prada and jewels by Neil Lane.
Most-Sexy: Rihanna in Versace. Is there really any surprise here? The Jamacian singer wowed onlookers with her low-cut, high-slited custom Versace gown. She topped the look off with Jacquine Aiche body necklaces, Louboutin shoes, and a Jimmy Choo clutch.
Most Chic: Kelly Rowland in Alberta Ferretia. The sheer shoulders and bejeweled fitted bodice showed off this singer’s features. She seemed to have walked right off the runway.
Most Classic: Carrie Underwood in Gomez-Garcia. This backless, sequined gowned popped right off Underwood's skin. She was elegant and beautiful, while still remaining conservative-sexy.
Overall-Best Dressed: Paris Hilton in Basil Soda. Paris looked surprisingly perfect in her chic gold and white gown. The straight shoulder line, effortless up-do, and emblished gold belt all made for a simple, yet noticable silhouette.
