iPhone 5s is $150 at Best Buy in two-day sale.

Best Buy to reduce iPad Air price by $50 on Jan. 24 and 25.

Original article from Dec. 29:

Best Buy has the best buys for iPhone 5s and 5c this week. Target's prices are second best and Walmart is offering the same deal you can get at the Apple store. These iPhone prices can be found on Bestbuy.com, Target.com and Walmart.com. Best Buy and Target pricing was discussed on phonesreview.co.uk on Dec. 29. These prices cover 16 gigabyte models with a new two-year service commitment from one of the four major U.S. carriers: Verizon, AT&T, Sprint or T-Mobile.

Best Buy, iPhone 5s: $124.99.

Target, iPhone 5s: $179.99.

Best Buy, iPhone 5c: Free.

Target, iPhone 5c: $30 plus receive a $30 Target gift card.

Walmart, the Apple Store and other outlets offer these list prices: iPhone 5s for $199; iPhone 5c for $99.

Best Buy now offers these prices on new iPhones with two-year commitment for smartphone service with either Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint. This is for the 16 gigabyte model in any of the five colors that Apple makes: yellow, pink, green, blue or white. The deal appeared on BestBuy.com Dec. 29.

This is slightly better than Target's deal because Target requires that you spend $30 for the iPhone 5c and then receive a Target gift card worth $30. At this point, Walmart appears not to be competing with its big box rivals iPhone 5c prices, though Walmart has offered iPhone 5c for $50 since October. Apple stands pat with its list price of $99.

iPhone 5s is the latest technology model and uses the new A7 microchip. It features fingerprint sign-on and comes in gold, silver or gray. The iPhone 5c uses the same A6 microchip as last year's iPhone 5, has an excellent 8 megapixel Eysight camera and 4-inch Retina Display screen.

All four major U.S. carriers, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile, support these iPhones, and you can purchase iPhone 5S and 5c at any of their local stores, though we have yet to see them offer prices as low as Best Buy and Target. Low prices are likely to continue in the future because smartphone prices fall quickly as their technology ages. All the deals mentioned above are for a 16 gigabyte iPhone 5c purchased in conjunction with a new two-year commitment for phone service.
