Best Butt Exercises - Standing Lunge

It's a hot, hot summer here in Nashville this year.  This means you are spending lots of time in short shorts, tiny sun dresses and bathing suits, so the butt and legs are on display!  One of the first basic exercises to tone the lower body is the squat. 

Here is your step-by-step exercise guide:

Stand tall, feet together, shoulders back.

Take a big step forward with your left leg. Bend the back knee and lower it toward the ground. Keep those shoulders back, squeeze the stomach and butt.  Don't forget to breathe!

Use those butt muscles to bring yourself back up to center. Switch sides and take a big step forward with the right foot.
