Eugene Brancoveanu, former Adler Fellow from SF Opera, headlines as Mozart's rogue from Hell
Mozart's Don Giovanni, featuring former Adler Fellow Eugene Brancoveanu (pictured) as the Don, opens at the new El Cerrito Performing Arts Theater on Saturday, February 20, with repeat performances on Friday, February 26 and Sunday, February 30 ( 2 pm matinee).
Eugene was a courtier in Verdi's Rigoletto at San Francisco Opera a few years ago. He said in an interview then he wanted to emulate Paulo Gavanelli and sing the role of Rigoletto someday.
