Bensalem police are looking for two brazen but stupid jewelry thieves that had struck the lower Bucks County area. They have struck the Sears store at the Neshaminy Mall on Feb 25. They also hit the K-mart at 176 W. street nearby Lower Southampton Twp. the next day. Thinking they got lucky, they went to the Sears store at the Oxford Valley Mall on the 27th of February. Police just released security footage today March 3 2014.. It shows their faces. Someone knows who they are.

In all three thefts, a red or orange pick up truck was used. The first letters of the Pennsylvania tag are ZC. Police said the alleged thieves would cut a cord for a spinning display case and empty the contents of the display case and then run from the store. The value of these items is expensive. Police said that about $100,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from the all three thefts.

The thieves are stupid because while they may have gotten away with it for right now, the jewelry department in any store has the best cameras. In addition to that, an extensive surveillance system is used by the Oxford Valley mall and cops are combing through that to glean more information.

Someone knows who these two guys are. Anyone that would purchase stolen jewelry from them is guilty of receiving stolen property. Pawn shops have been notified around the area, and you can bet police are combing online adds and will check flea markers as well.

If you have any information, police would like to hear from you. Go here for more information.
