According to The Guardian, it was reported on March 18 about a brand new singer who might be on the market soon. His name is Benjamin Lasnier, he is 13 years old and he is the new Justin Bieber. Or so people think because many think he looks like the young music sensation.
According to the report, when Benjamin was just 12 years old, he was sitting in a diner with his cousin. His cousin talked him into joining Instagram and posting pictures of himself on the site. Now, almost a year later, he is 13 years old and has more than 762,000 Instagram followers and is even famous on the site with his pictures on the front page of the website.
Lasnier was posting at least 12 pictures a day and wants to start a music career and follow his music idol, Justin Bieber. The young Bieber look-alike is from Copenhagen but says he wants to "Crack America" with his fame and music.
His mother became aware that something was happening to her son when he started being mobbed by young girls in public. Although he has never pretended to have any musical talent and he has only lip-synched to music on YouTube, he is now signed on with Sony and is working with some top producers to 'crack America.' However, because of his start with musical fame, he is losing his brand on Instagram since some people are saying he is taking too many pictures of himself and 'must have a big ego.' He says he doesn't want people to think that so he is only posting 4 pictures a day now. You can view his picture here.
