Bengals TE Jermaine Gresham will play in his second NFL Pro Bowl

The NFL announced today that Bengals player TE Jermaine Gresham will replace Pittsburgh’s Heath Miller. Due to an injury, Miller won’t be play in this year’s Pro Bowl.

The game is scheduled to be played in Honolulu on January 27th. Gresham was voted as an alternate player in this year’s Pro Bowl.

Gresham is a 3 year veteran with the Cincinnati Bengals. He was drafted in the first round of the 2010 draft and appeared in last year’s Pro Bowl game. Gresham will join teammates Geno Atkins and A.J. Greene in Hawaii.

Although the Bengals season is over, Gresham had a successful season. In 2012, he had 64 catches for 737 yards. He also scored 5 touchdowns. He also set a Bengals record as the only Bengals TE with at least 50 catches in 3 consecutive seasons.

Gresham will be among good company with other NFL superstars like Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Adrian Peterson and Frank Gore.
