Bengals sign two rookie players today (Video)

The Cincinnati Bengals signed two players today. They signed WR Lavasier Tuinei to a Reserve/Future contract. Tuinei (6-4, 220; Oregon) won’t join the team for any work or count against the team’s active roster until after the Super Bowl.

His NFL career began on May 7 as a college free agent with the Seattle Seahawks. He played in Seattle’s four preseason games and caught one pass for eight yards.

The Seahawks waived him on September 1st.

He completed two stints with Seattle’s practice squad: October 31st to November 6th and then November 13th to December 17th.

The Bengals also signed rookie WR Justin Hilton to their practice squad. Hilton (6-2, 190; Indiana State) signed with the Bengals as a college free agent on May 2nd. He played in three Bengals preseason games before waiving him on August 29th. He caught one pass for 30 yards.

During today’s press conference with QB Andy Dalton, he was asked about his experiences since facing the Texans in the playoffs 12 months ago.

Dalton said that last year they depended on other teams to get them into the playoffs. This year they took control of their destiny by winning seven of their final eight games. He also said he is feeling more confident.
