The Bengals will try to stop their current streak of playoff losses. The Bengals haven’t won a playoff game since QB Andy Dalton was three-years-old. The last Bengals playoff win came in January 1991 against the Houston Oilers. Dalton has led the Bengals to the playoffs in his first two seasons, but he didn’t play well enough to win either game.
Today, the Bengals have an opportunity to change their fortunes and win at home. They have one of the best defenses in the NFL and enough offense to win this afternoon against the San Diego Chargers. For motivation, the Bengals have brought back some veterans from the “Freezer Bowl” in 1982, the second coldest game in NFL playoff history. Ken Anderson, Cris Collinsworth, and Hall of Famer Anthony Munoz are among several former players. To view the complete list, visit the Bengals website.
