Benefit workout for injured CrossFitter

Whether you’re a CrossFitter who is already signed up for the CrossFit open, a novice who wants to try your first official “WOD” (Workout of the Day), or just someone who wants to help a family in need, you can take part this Saturday, 3/1 at 10:00 am.

Sherown Campbell, a CrossFitter from MBS CrossFit in Broomfield, suffered a C5 fracture while on vacation last month in San Diego. He is still in the hospital, currently classified as a quadriplegic while it is determined how much can be done to restore movement and feeling below the injury site.

MBS will be hosting the first WOD of the CrossFit Open, to be announced this evening, as a benefit for Sherown. A $20 donation is requested to participate. If you can’t make it to the WOD but would like to help, donations are being accepted here, or you can send donations to:
MBS CrossFit 10900 W. 120th Ave, Broomfield, CO 80021. Please make checks payable to Sue & Sherown Campbell.

A silent auction, along with other opportunities to donate, will be held along with the workout.
