Benedict Cumberbatch fans are in for some exciting news. According to a Jan 28 story by Variety, the British star has been cast to star in a military thriller. It seems Benedict Cumberbatch’s new movie will feature him playing a military contractor. The movie is titled “Blood Mountain”, and it is being written by Jonathan Stokes and John Romano. Sergei Bodrov, who rose to fame by directing “Mongol” and “Seventh Son”, is schedule to direct the production.

In the film, Cumberbatch and his co-stars will portray military contractors that are ambushed. During the fight, their special forces team is overwhelmed and killed. In the end, he is forced to lead one of the most wanted men in the world through dangerous enemy territory.

A release date for Benedict Cumberbatch’s new movie has not been announced. However, it is scheduled to start production in April. The movie will be filmed in Morocco, but the amount of time needed for filming and post production has not been announced.
