Bend Winterfest 2013 offers a variety of music acts

Join thousands of people from across the Northwest region for the 14th annual Bend WinterFest on February 15-17. There are some great attractions on tap including some national local music acts.

The Music Mainstage sponsored by Mount Bachelor is well known for bringing some of the best live music acts to Bend, and 2013 will be better than ever! Seattle’s Hell’s Belles, the hard-rocking all-female AC/DC cover band, will be playing Saturday night. Opening for the Belles is Oregon’s own Stairway Denied, the nation’s premier Led Zeppelin tribute band.

Stairway Denied formed to pay tribute to one of the most beloved and influential bands in rock history, Led Zeppelin.

The band consists of drummer Chris Harver, guitarists Curtis Monette and Dylan Nelson, multi-instrumentalist Dusty Stallings, and vocalist Noah Stroup. They uniquely meld the fiery improvisation of Zeppelins live performances with the intricate, multi-layered arrangements of their studio work. Invoking the spirits of the gods of rock, Stairway Denied goes for the intensity of Zeppelins early day performances. Stairway Denied does Zeppelin fans proud.
