After seven years, "30 Rock" is ending on Jan. 31 and an ice cream will be named after the show according to the entertainment section of TIME magazine.
Ben & Jerry's usually unveils its new flavor in the spring, but this time the famous ice cream company moved up its date to coincide with the finale of "30 Rock."
Ben & Jerry’s announced this week that a new 30 Rock-themed “celebrity flavor” would be unveiled on the same day of the show’s finale.
According to E! News, Ben & Jerry's co-founder, Jerry Greenfield, will unveil the new ice cream along with its name at a special final party and viewing party on Thursday, Jan. 31 right near the show’s home base at 30 Rockefeller Center in New York.
Details about the ice cream have been kept a secret, but there have been a hint that the ice cream will go well with "30 Rock" reruns.
The special flavor will be available in Ben & Jerry's shops in February, and in grocery stores and convenience stores soon thereafter.
Tina Fey is the creator and star of the show. The actress revealed her plans for following the season finale of "30 Rock."
"I am going to London in March to film the next 'Muppets' movie … and I'm hopefully shooting a movie called 'Mail Order Groom' this summer with Steve Carrell."
Fey added that she might have another television series on NBC in the "next couple of years."
Ben & Jerry's spokesperson Sean Greenwood told TIME magazine that the Vermont company, well known for its cleverly titled flavors, has "always been about having some irreverence and having some fun."
