Last night on 'The Bachelorette' 2011, we saw Ashley Hebert turn down a proposal from Ben Flajnik. What we did not see was Ben ask her stepfather permission to propose.
In this video, Ben sits down by himself with Ashley's stepfather. He says that he feels wonderful about Ashley, but has not told her yet that he is in love with her.
Ben says he has been ready for love, but just hasn't found it. He does not want to let Ashley go and would love permission to propose if they are okay with it.
Her dad says that he has his blessing if it comes to that and he has confidence that Ashley will make the right choice for herself.

Oklahoma City fans are sad for Ben and hope that he has moved on to find love.
