Another sitcom bites the dust! Shortly after news that “Don’t Trust the B---- in Apartment 23” has been pulled from the ABC network, FOX followed with an update of their own. On Wednesday, Jan. 23, Entertainment Weekly announced that the comedy “Ben and Kate” has been pulled from FOX’s schedule.
Even fans of the show weren’t surprised by FOX’s decision; “Ben and Kate” has had pretty low ratings since the show first debuted. There are six unaired episodes left of “Ben and Kate,” which FOX says will be aired “at some point.”
FOX will be doubling up episodes of “Raising Hope” instead of “Ben and Kate” through February. This will make room for “Hell’s Kitchen,” which will launch March 12. “Hell’s Kitchen” will lead into “New Girl,” followed by “The Mindy Project.”
“Ben and Kate” stars Dakota Johnson, Nat Faxon, Lucy Punch, Maggie Elizabeth Jones, and Echo Kellum.
The stars of “Ben and Kate” have yet to comment.
