In a recent post by Assistant Professor Samuel Otten on YouTube Tuesday, there is new footage of Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne in Zack Snyder's "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" partaking in a scene in what appears to be him rescuing a little girl from some falling wreckage. One could only speculate what is going on here as one could think that this could be a scene being shot in parallel to the events in "Man of Steel" where Superman is fighting General Zod or this could be some other catastrophic event.
Other activity shows a lot of the crew doing their thing as well as people setting up for the shot and calling out "action" as Affleck moves towards the distressed child. Amusingly, there's someone in front of the barricades with a lanyard monitoring bystanders standing momentarily at parade rest.
Recently, footage by the same man was uploaded by Otten on YouTube showing Affleck standing at a different point of a scene in front of a bus and upon further examination, some graying of his hair. It had been mentioned that this version of Batman is of a more mature variety.
In a recent 2014 San Diego Comic Con panel at Hall H, Zack Snyder and introduced Affleck, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, and Henry Cavill as Superman. During that point, it was revealed to fans the first ever promotional shots of the three wearing their corresponding costumes.
Also, Jason Momoa is rumored to play a small role in the "Batman v. Superman" film and was recently spotted working out at the same location as Gadot partaking in wall climbing fitness. They are using the same trainer for Henry Cavill, Mark Twight, and so it seems with the same trainer, it looks like they'll all be on the same page for the Znyder film.
"Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" opens in theaters come May 6, 2016.
