Belvedere Thinks Inside The Box for Special Edition (RED)™ Bottle Launch (Photos)

There is something special about Belvedere Vodka and its knack for throwing amazing parties. What is even greater is the vodka brands dedication to its latest partnership with (RED)™ as the (BELVEDERE)RED Special Edition bottle debuted this month worldwide.

Belvedere and (RED)™ first announced their partnership back in February during Grammy Awards weekend by featuring a LIVE performance from USHER, who is now the face of the Belvedere (RED)™ campaign. Now the Special Edition (BELVEDERE)RED bottle is available for purchase with the same great taste and proceeds will benefit the Global Fund as the world’s leading financier of programs to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria™ in Africa.

This time around to celebrate the sales launch, Belvedere commissioned the jaw-dropping antics of New York stage production The Box to turn up the WOW factor on Friday, August 27th. Hollywood lounge, Paul & Andre (formerly Cinespace Hollywood), served as the host venue for the evening with its New York inspired party space, complete with graffiti clad walls, velvet seating, exquisite decor and surround sound that kept the party hype all evening.

Belvedere CEO, Charles Gibb showed great excitement in bringing The Box on board for this special one night only event. “The Box goes to the next level in nightclub entertainment. If I can describe it…its burlesque and cabaret meets Cirque Du Soliel and adds an extra sort of drama to the situation, simply put it’s a crazy world!”

Proprietor and Artistic Director of The Box, Simon Hammerstein also spoke on the productions west-coast debut. “Belvedere approached me about bringing The Box to Hollywood for VMA weekend and I thought, why not? "I created The Box because I wanted to improve the overall nightlife experience in New York and so it’s nice to finally bring it to LA.” When asked about what guests can expect to see during the show? “I don’t really focus on describing what The Box is. I like to leave it up to the individual so that they can form their own opinion just come with an open mind”, he offers. The Belvedere team figured this event would be the perfect way to kick-off MTV Music Awards weekend--with the industry’s hottest hip-kids coming out to party with a purpose. “Transformers” star Shia Lebeouf and Rock royalty, Marilyn Manson stopped by while Supermodels Lydia Hearst and Alessandra Ambrosio sipped signature (RED)™ cocktails in VIP. Actress, Socialite and resident party girl, Lindsey Lohan made an appearance and MTV Reality star Audrina Patridge was spotted making her way through the crowd. Derek Hough and Cheryl Burke of “Dancing with the Stars” fame along with Actors Jesse Metcalf and Kellan Lutz also made it to The Box which guests say “Was an experience like no other.”

The very funny Chelsea Handler who is one of Belvedere’s lead spokespersons was also in the house and snapped photos on the red carpet “Anything that we can combine vodka and charity, I’m all for it” says Handler and we can’t blame the girl for loving Belvedere. The luxury vodka brand has managed to create a bevy of tasty blends including Citrus, Pink Grapefruit, Black Raspberry and its latest maceration the Bloody Mary flavor.

Charles Gibb speaks candidly about Belvedere's partnership with (RED) offering that the corporations has a fantastic way of bringing brands together to get the word out for its mission. "Belvedere has raised over a million dollars this year and it is our goal to continue these efforts into 2012 and beyond. It’s important for consumers to know that mother to child transmission of AIDS can be reversed as early as the year 2015. It gives people hope--an attainable goal to aspire to." he says.
