What makes a hamburger sing? It could be the love of the pretzel bun. Wendy's has brought back the pretzel bun. Wendy’s is asking consumers to share their joy of being reunited with their beloved bun on social channels with the hashtag #PretzelLoveSongs. Wendy’s is turning the most love-filled social media posts into lyrics of full-fledged songs performed in a series of music videos. Best-selling R&B group Boyz II Men and two-time Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter and producer Jon Secada created their own #PretzelLoveSongs music videos.
For the local Chicago singers, Wendy's is offering them the opportunity to belt out their pretzel love on July 30. The PretzelLoveSongs Karaoke Booth is coming to historic Navy Pier at Polk Bros Park. Pretzel bun fans can sing their hearts out for the return of Wendy’s Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger and Pretzel Pub Chicken sandwiches. Consumers will be able to create a music video singing “pretzelfied” love song lyrics to share online with their pretzel groupies before Navy Pier’s 9:30 p.m. summer fireworks show.
On Wednesday, July 30, from 1– 9 p.m., Wendy’s is setting up a karaoke booth at Navy Pier in at Polk Bros Park, where consumers may get a chance to:
