Nicole Knepper, famous mom, blogger, author, and Facebook personality, is not happy.
On Saturday March 16, 2013 Knepper announced on her popular ChicagoNow blog that she had lost control of her popular Facebook page “Moms Who Drink and Swear” due to a hacker who somehow managed to take over the fan page.
“Save MWDAS!” was the fan battle cry. Knepper has been hacked!
On Facebook, Nicole Knepper boasted over 251,000 fans – but it’s all gone now thanks to an unidentified person who somehow managed to gain ownership and take over the fan site of the notoriously potty-mouthed housewife.
Despite the appeal to fans to help her implore the Facebook Gods to intervene, the site is no more. Even Facebook, that mighty social networking behemoth, was unable to step in, identify the culprit, and reinstate Knepper to her rightful place as the Queen of Cussin’.
What was Facebook’s solution to Knepper’s dilemma?
“Sorry, Ma’m. Guessin’ you is gonna need to start all over, I reckon.”
Knepper, author of the about-to-be-released novel Moms Who Drink and Swear: True Tales of Loving My Kids While Losing My Mind, is stressed to lose her supportive fan site two weeks before the official release of her book. As a popular Naperville, Illinois blogger, Knepper has book signing activities scheduled all over the Chicagoland area, and people have actually booked plane tickets to come in and support their favorite authoress.
