Belliard highlights 'Pigs Opening Day roster

A 13-year pro, infielder Ronnie Belliard, and nine players that were with the IronPigs at some point during the 2010 season, highlight Lehigh Valley's 2011 Opening Day roster.

After a 6-1 win in an exhibition game Tuesday night against the Philadelphia Phillies Double-A affiliate Reading Phillies, the IronPigs will officially open their season Thursday night, hosting the Scranton Wilkes-Barre Yankees. The first pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. at Coca-Cola Park. Stadium replicas of Coca-Cola Park will be given to the first 3,000 fans 18 and older.

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs 2011 Opening Day roster:

Pitchers — Brian Bass, Eddie Bonine, Nate Bump, Drew Carpenter, Ryan Feierabend, Jason Grilli, Scott Mathieson, Dan Meyer, Drew Naylor*, Juan Perez*, Michael Schwimer, Mike Stutes, Vance Worley, Mike Zagurski.

Catchers — Erik Kratz, Dane Sardinha

Infielders — Josh Barfield, Ronnie Belliard, Tagg Bozied*, Kevin Frandsen, Jeff Larish, Rob Hudson

Outfielders
— Matt Miller, Brandon Moss, Cory Sullivan, Rich Thompson, Delwyn Young

* - Will begin season on disabled list.
