Thanksgiving Doll Displays
There was plenty to be thankful about at the November 3 meeting of the Belle Meade Plantation Belles with a new member joining the club as well as three colorful Thanksgiving Displays to admire and help kick off the Holiday Season.
The 1995 American Stories Collection Pilgrim Barbie featured prominently in two of the displays as did Barbie's native American friends. The third diorama showed the Thanksgiving Feast Silkstone Barbie doll from the 2010 Barbie Fan Club Holiday Hostess Series serving a turkey at a cute little table all set and decorated for Thanksgiving.
Club members discussed plans for a Christmas party as well as some doll craft plans for 2012 including making hats for the 2012 club dolls as well as doing a little dolly embroidery.
