“@titoortiz it is so nice to see that a woman with amazing looks and tons of money don’t matter to you anymore!! You go for normal women now!” a fan tweeted to Ortiz.
“@MrsSummerFiesta well she has neither. I guess I made the right decision.I didn’t know there were normal girls.Guess I was fooled by medusa,” Ortiz responded.
Ortiz eferring to Jameson as Medusa was obviously a major insult.
In Greek mythology Medusa was a monster, a Gorgon, generally described as having the face of a hideous human female with living venomous snakes in place of hair. Gazing directly upon her would turn onlookers to stone.
Calling someone Medusa is quite the spiteful sentiment, but the comment essentially summed up the current sad state of affairs between Ortiz and Jameson.
Jameson hasn't responded to the remark directly, but she did retweet some fans who bashed Ortiz on Twitter.
"I have never seen a pic of Tito with those kids and didn't even know he was the father. Seems @jennajameson deserves her babies SHE raised!" a fan tweeted to Jameson, as retweeted by the film star.
As for Ortiz, he seems to have moved on from the situation, as he now appears to be dating former UFC ring girl Amber Miller.
Miller is perhaps most famous for her work at UFC Octagon girl in the early-2000s, but she is also known from her having face plastered all over Las Vegas billboards for hotspots such as The Palms Hotel, Venetian, TI, MGM, NYNY, Stratosphere, Mandalay, Wynn, Golden Nugget, Flamingo Hilton, and Rio.
"I also have an interest in acting most recently I have two national commercials running on SPIKE TV and MTV for XYIENCE supplements and recently named XYIENCE new spokes model 2009 and given a year contract," Miller says on her website. "I also hosted a segment of EXTRA for a look into Rande Gerber’s Bar the Whiskey (Las Vegas)."
Ortiz was supposed to be fighting on the Nov. 2 Bellator card in California, but he dropped off due to a neck injury. Jameson is currently in the midst of a national tour promoting her new book.
At the end of the day, both Ortiz and Jameson could possibly benefit from their public drama. Fight fans are eating up the celebrity gossip, so it's great brand awareness both for Ortiz and Jameson.
More fans are going to be interested in watching Ortiz fight due to the public drama, and it's quite possible that Jameson will sell more books because of it. It's a win-win for all parties involved.
