During a teleconference last week, Bellator had champion Ben Askren on call, as well as Bjorn Rebney, and King Mo Lawal.
While asked if he is a boring fighter Ben Askren said, "I am who I am." And he is who he is. Askren acknowledged that Wrestling is his base discipline and will not change that. Askren also mentioned that he will not be joining TNA Wrestling like King Mo.
When King Mo was asked what his biggest concern was, King Mo said that his biggest concern is not to get injured and be ready for the next round. King Mo is excited and ready to get back in the ring and fight. King Mo very upbeat and excited.
When I asked Bjorn about the Eddie Alvarez situation, Bjorn had no interest in talking about the situation, and quickly diverted. Bjorn started talking about how excited he is for upcoming fights and the tournaments taking place.
