According to a Jan. 17 report from Dailymotion.com, Bellator MMA beauty Felice Herrig recently completed an interview for TMZ, where she discussed using sex appeal to get ahead.
Herrig, a 28-year-old MMA fighter, is one of the main proponents of using physical appearance to gain an edge, and she opened up about the matter during her appearance.
"I have to make a living and put food on my table," Herrig said of why it's okay to use sex appeal to get ahead. "I have to be able to support my career and support my fighting. Fighting doesn't necessarily pay the bills. It's a little bit more now, but would it be paying my bills if I didn't have sex appeal?"
Herrig makes a solid point, as she regularly receives main event status and higher-paying fights due in part to her sex appeal.
"I just think that I'm being a smart businesswoman, and I'm not doing anything that I'm not comfortable with," Herrig said.
"I think the female body is beautiful," Herrig added. "Why do I have to be a fighter and all I can do to enhance my career is to fight?"
No word yet on when Herrig plans to step back in the cage with Bellator MMA.
During her interview, Herrig also praised the UFC for opening a women's division.
"Let people do whatever they want to do," Herrig said. "Like my decision, if I want to fight, if I want to be in the UFC or whatever I want to do."
