Bellator MMA ring girl Jade Bryce said in a Jan. 19 interview with 411 Mania that she is working on an autobiography.
Bryce explained that the book is about dealing with adversity and overcoming a tough upbringing.
No word yet on an official release date for Bryce's work.
"I'm working on a book. It's kind of like an autobiography," Bryce said on the Thoughts From The Man-cave podcast. "It's my story, but there's a lot of people's feelings that I don't want to get hurt, and things like that. So I haven't decided yet. It's basically my life story."
Bryce plans to title the book a Sanskrit translation for "Behold the Power of the Lotus Flower."
"The lotus flower, they blossom through mud," Bryce said. " The theme of the book is being positive and getting through a negative upbringing, so that will be my title and hopefully I'll get it done this year."
In Bryce's 411mania.com interview, she also discussed Bellator MMA's transition to Spike TV, plus the perks of being a ring girl.
"I think our transition to Spike is exactly what we needed," Bryce said. "I'm excited about how big our platform is going to become."
"I was such an MMA fan before I even had the job, so having the best seat in the house is one of the best perks," she added.
Bryce said she was a huge fan of Bellator before she was a ring girl, and she followed the careers of Eddie Alvarez and Roger Huerta before they were huge MMA stars.
Bryce also discussed her new dark blonde hair color, which is actually her natural color. She explained that the platinum blonde look she featured in the past was for work-related reasons, and she hopes to keep the darker blonde look.
"This is my natural color. It's a very dark blonde," Bryce said. "I had been highlighting it for a while, more for work. It just isn't good for your hair to highlight it for that long."
