According to a Jan. 21 report from MMA Fighting, the Bellator 86 fight card has been finalized with the addition of Ben Askren vs Karl Amoussou.
Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal will also be making his Bellator MMA debut at Bellator 86.
"He's in the tournament, you know what I'm saying?" Lawal said of his upcoming opponent, Przemyslaw Mysiala. "When it comes down to it, whoever is in the tournament, it doesn't make a difference, because he has to win the tournament to get a chance to fight for the belt."
"Eventually, it doesn't matter who it is," Lawal explained. "It could be him, it could be Mikhail Zayats, it could Jacob Noe, or it could be Emanuel Newton. We're all going to get to fight each other, somehow, someway."
Bellator 86 takes place at WinStar World Casino.
Bellator MMA will be broadcast live on Thursday, January 24th at 10 p.m. ET and 9 p.m. CT on Spike TV, as well as in Spanish language on mun2. The preliminary card will begin at 8 pm ET and 7 p.m. CT and streamed live and free on Spike.com.
"I was very impressed," said Lawal of Bellator's recent debut on Spike TV. "I don't know what to expect, because MMA right now, to me, is at a standstill. There's too much MMA now, and to get a number like that on Spike TV is pretty impressive.
"I hope the numbers keep on going up," the former champ concluded. "I hope the debut is good, the second one is good, I hope the third one beats the second one, and it keeps on rising."
