It seems that actress Bella Thorne has not taken a breather at all since her days on the Disney Channel as CeCe Jones on “Shake It Up.” She has been quite busy taking on different roles recently on the small screen, and on the big screen, as well. Her newest one may turn out to be a killer role. E! News has exclusively revealed on Wednesday that the teen has landed a guest role on the popular crime drama, “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” for the upcoming fall season.
This single episode guest spot for Thorne may get a little intense. She will appear as a very popular student at a high school where she is on the National Honor Roll, is the captain of the swim team, and is also the school’s French Club president. However, her life may not be as good as it seems. After a fellow student is murdered at school, Hannah becomes the prime suspect in the case, but did she really do it?
The 16-year-old seems quite excited about this new job she has taken on. Even though it is only for one episode, it sounds like it will be just right for her. She sent out a teaser on her Twitter account last week saying, “Starting a cool guest star role on a very established show tomorrow! #excited #goodrole #deep #emotional.”
This is a very different role for the red-headed actress. Young fans are used to seeing the perky dancer showing off her moves with former co-star, Zendaya Coleman, on the Disney Channel. However, she has proven that she is no longer that innocent girl with taking on these various roles. Her movie credits include the role of Adam Sandler’s daughter in “Blended,” which also stars Drew Barrymore. Look for her in the upcoming horror flick, “Amityville,” as well. Remember that famous creepy house? Well, her family moves into it and you know that this won’t turn out well.
In addition to her acting career, Bella Thorne is also the new face of Candies brand of clothing and is working on new music for her album titled “Call It Whatever,’ which is expected to be out later this year. Don’t forget what a fashionista this girl is. In fact, the teen won the You’re So Fancy award recently at the 2014 Young Hollywood Awards.
The new season of “CSI” premieres on Sunday, Sept. 28 at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.
