Americans for Prosperity – Texas in conjunction with the Central Texas Tea Party will host an education town hall meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, at Cathedral Oaks Event Center in Belton. Panelists will include Peggy Venable, Texas Director of Americans for Prosperity, a representative from charter schools and Lou Ann Anderson from Watchdog Wire will moderate. Individually tailored social media training will be available after the panel discussion. This is a free event however as seating is limited, reservations are recommended. The forum will provide information on key pieces of legislation being considered and also provide a briefing on the controversial CSCOPE lesson plan which is used by over 850 school districts in Texas.
