With the Spurs' Big Three (Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker) out for Thursday's game at Oracle Arena, Marco Belinelli - the Warriors former first-round pick (18th overall) in 2007 - stepped up to score 28 points off the bench to spur San Antonio to a 104-102 win over Golden State.

Belinelli actually outscored the Warriors bench 28-13 helping the Spurs comeback from being down by as many as 14. He shot 10-for-16 from the floor and was 4-of-8 from downtown. "We never give up," he said afterward. "We just tried to be aggressive all game." He added two rebounds and one assist in nearly 29 minutes.

The 27-year-old appeared in 75 games with the Warriors from '07-09 averaging 6.2 points, 1.4 assists and 1.1 rebounds in 15.0 minutes per contest. He was traded to Toronto after the end of the 2008-2009 season.
