Nearly 100 people who believe in angels meet twice monthly in Oakville, Ontario (east of Hamilton) to meditate together to receive messages from their angels, as well as spirit guides.
Yvonne Mollinga, who established the group Oakville Believers in Angels! about two years ago said, “The reason this group was started is because when I first began coming into spirit, I found it very difficult to get help. There were so many questions, so many things happening very fast.”
She eventually got the help she needed but added, “mostly all my teachings were channeled and I had to learn to decipher what these teachings were. Later I received messages. This was to be the only acceptable form for my teachings. Iin the meantime, however, I was lost in some ways. There is such a huge need for people to advance at the moment – and quickly. Because of this, I realized there were many people who needed help during their awakening, communicating, learning – so this is the real reason I started it.”
At the bi-monthly meetings, members have an opportunity to share how angels have revealed their presence in their lives. The also discuss how they first met their angels (and guides) and help others who are still trying to communicate with them.
“Not only do these stories help us learn more about communicating but they also tell us what interests the divine and what gets their attention. This will also help to expand our own personal toolbox of ideas to open communication.”
The members then form a circle and meditate together to receive messages.
The next meeting is August 10, 2010 at 7 p.m. at 1122 Berkshire Court in Oakville, Ontario (east of Hamilton).
“Our meetup is usually twice per month; in the summer its only once per month. That is why there are few meetups listed at the moment. Eeryone seems to get back on track about the second week of September, so this will probably be when the next one is scheduled. All these meetups are free of charge. I also offer paid events, and host events for others (i.e. sweat lodges and drum making, healing 101 classes, shamanic classes).
Aside from angel and spirit guide communication, future topics will cover such things as chakra cleansing, psychic protection, meditating and journaling, shamanic journeying, mediumship and more.
