Susanne Alexander-Heaton currently lives in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She shared her story.
She opened, “Cancer, burn out, loss, I have survived all of these wake-up calls. So many things have occurred that have reinforced my belief in a higher power. I have been given heightened awareness of signs that are shown to me by nature to let me know that I am not alone.”
Susanne is working to help others.
She discussed her book’s message, “My book is designed for children to help them learn in a playful, rhyming manner how to treat themselves, others and the environment with respect. It has been referred to as a ‘Must-have addition to any children’s library, both for the beauty of the book’s design features and for the simple wisdom of its poetry.’ Reviewed by Angus MacDonnell for REAP - Respect for the Earth and All People. I also work with worthy FUNdraising organizations that can utilize the book for FUNdraisers. In Alberta and Manitoba, it is available in the following retail locations:
You can purchase it on line from Amazon in soft cover as well as in all the e-reader formats.
Susanne shared the purpose of her work, “The mission of my business, Motivated by Nature is to make a positive impact on the environment and all people. I am now an award winning author, publisher, motivational speaker and FUNdraiser. I am passionate about sharing my story to help people live the life of their dreams now. I empower people with motivational speaking engagements to make them realize what incredibly powerful beings they truly are. I also dress as the letter ‘S’ from Susanne, The Sunshine Faery in the book to help spread its message to children and community groups.”
Her advice if you’re coping with cancer, “Don’t blame yourself for getting the cancer. Many new age practices promote this and it does absolutely nothing for a cancer patient. Find out absolutely everything you can about the type of cancer, it helps to empower you to know exactly what you are dealing with. It is okay to be angry. Be willing to ask your doctor questions and ask your friends for help. There are many great organizations out there that deal specifically with cancer patients and can provide complimentary therapies. Select what is right for you.”
