The werewolf, the vampire and the ghost are saying goodbye. On Tuesday, February 25 Entertainment Weekly broke the news that the supernatural television drama "Being Human" has been canceled after four seasons by Syfy Channel. The series was a remake of a British television show of the same name.

The final six episodes of the thirteen episode season will take the story back around to season one, and provide a proper send off for Aiden, Sally, Josh and Nora. The series premiered in 2011 and followed a vampire, werewolf, and a ghost who all live together in modern day Boston and help each other stay alive.

Aiden, Josh and Nora all work at the hospital for different reasons. Aiden uses his job as a nurse as an easy way to get fresh blood bags, and Josh and Nora find the schedule of shifts easy to manage around the full moon each month. Sally is unable to leave the house or speak to anyone who isn't dead much later in the series and eventually she finds a way to become human again.

The season four finale and finale episode of "Being Human" will air on Monday, April 7. Tune in to find out what happens to Sally, Josh, Nora and Aiden. The network seems to have planned for the series to only continue for three or four seasons, as the cast prepared a farewell video for fans which was released shortly after the announcement. The original series only ran for three seasons, although the United States version has thirteen episode seasons.
