With their special events like the "Big Crush" and the upcoming "Behind the Cellar Door" visitors can "taste their way around the world through older, just released, and wines in the barrel" by over 35 participating Amador County wineries. This premier wine tasting event is an annual affair that draws thousands out in the first weekend of March to enjoy the fruitful labors of dedicated wine makers in the beautiful foothills.
The "Behind the Cellar Door" weekend will include cuisine pairings to accompany the selected wines being offered to participating visitors who purchase tickets. Presale tickets can be purchased through February 26, 2013 at the Amador Vintners website here for $50 or $35 Sunday only and designated driver tickets for $10 each.
