We've all heard of Tucker Max, Neil Strauss and Mystery, who give advice for picking up the ladies ... but what about advice for "nice guys" who want a serious relationship? Single City Guy got so frustrated that he started blogging about the hurdles everyday guys face.
"Dating in New York City is war, especially as a guy," he says. "We're never given a handbook or a guide to date, all we do is copy what we've seen other successful people do and what mis-information we're given about attracting the opposite sex." And he's right, it's all about who you're listening to. To help him on the battlefield, he enlisted the help of Thomas Edwards, The Professional Wingman and yours truly, the eFlirt Expert, to be his virtual armor in NYC's dating scene. His biggest challenge? "The second date. Many women have very busy lives in New York, too busy to date. I'm all for a busy woman, but I would love if they took more time to date," he says. Single City Guy writes about his successes, pitfalls and most importantly, the journey along the way as he dates one New Yorker at a time. Personally, he reveals everything from the length of his virginity, his "polyamorous" relationships and how persistence got him the date. But he also shares insight with the men of NYC on the ebb and flow of dating, grinding etiquette for the dance floor and how to improve yourself in the bedroom.
